The 2021 Gillitts Club Championships will take place from Monday 22 November to Saturday 4 December 2021. Entries are open from Monday 15 November and will close on Friday night 19 November at midnight.

There will be multiple sections based on ability, which means that this suits players of all strengths. We will also be running a doubles section as usual, so those wanting to enter both singles and doubles need to bear in mind that this may lead to more than 1 match on an evening or rescheduling of matches to accommodate changes in results as matches are completed. Doubles matches may also need to spill over onto singles courts depending on the scheduling and numbers of entries.

Every effort will be made to ensure that players are playing in the correct section based on strength, however, the number of sections is dependent on how many entries are received.
Singles A- section will play PAR to 11, best of 5 games, whilst all other sections will play PAR to 15, best of 5 games.
Doubles section will play PAR to 15 (sudden death), best out of 3 games.
Quarter, Semi and Final Match formats may be varied to include PAR to 11, best of 5 games in other singles sections, whilst the doubles section may be required to play best out of 5 games.

As is the case every year, we would really like to encourage our regular junior and lady players to take part. It is an important part of building our base of players, especially at a junior level

Please don't wait to enter, we have a tight timeline, and once entries close we have very little time to sort out the draw before Monday.
It is not guaranteed that everyone will have their first round match on Monday, but we would ask that you make sure that you would be available to start play from Monday evening 22 November. Normally each player will have 5 singles matches over the 2 week period, and by entering doubles that would be at least 4 or 5 additional matches.
